If a friend, or someone closer, ever kills me after I develop Alzheimer's, or any other debilitating neurological disorder, it was MY wish, and always has been my wish. My condition at the time will have nothing to do with it. I will not be too unstable to make said decision. I already have made it. So you're all witnesses at the trial.

Well, the best defense against Alzheimer's and other forms of cognitive decline is education. Continue reading, learning, applying your mind, and you'll be less likely to be killed by a loved one. ;)

New studies have shown that those w/ education if they DO get the disease deteriorate a good deal faster than those without it. So you're kinda damned either way. Though the day I quit reading, something has already gone wrong.
