I'm Arts and Crafts Specialist at Camp Laurel, woo! We're going into the third week of camp (fourth week of work, since we had a week of training), and I'm really enjoying my job- at least, the part of my job where I work with the kids. Some of my co-workers aren't that great, but most are good, and a few are awesome. Elijah's Science and Nature ( Read more... )

Does your car have a trailer hitch? If not, you might want to see how much it would cost to install one. I was looking at renting a trailer from Uhaul a little while ago and it was less than $300 for like a week of use for a one-way haul. There are also companies like www.pods.com or www.upack.com

I'm not sure about pods rates, but I think they might be on the expensive side. I think u-pack has a destination-to-destination rate where they will ship from one of their centers to another one of their centers for a cheaper rate than door-to-door.

Nope, no hitch. Pods doesn't serve Flagstaff, and U-Pack would be about $2000. Getting a hitch and a trailer from Uhaul or somewhere might be doable, though. Does look like it'll be a little less than $300. Thanks for the tip!

Hey There! shilara July 13 2009, 21:23:20 UTC
Just saying Hi! I'm glad you two are having a good time at camp, and cannot wait to come visit the new digs sometime. Sounds like the internet thing is moving along, if slowly,so that's good news. Me, I'm settling into the job search and planning stage for next year, too, though not really sure which direction that's going in yet. I will talk to you guys as soon as I have a date for the Graduation party, which will hopefully be in the next couple of weeks. Screw waiting for the diploma, it's time to celebrate a new stage in life!
Say Hello to Elijah for me, and mental hugs to you both.

Guinness in the pizza dough... brilliant!

The logistics of moving are always tricky, particularly with longer distance relocations; I've never had to ponder a cross-country move out before. Good luck.

Glad to hear everything is going well, and welcome back to the internet!
