So I'm back from my vacation down south. It was very laid back (unlike our usual vacations, where we run from museum to museum, hike, and do Serious Things), this time me and my mom mostly hung out, went shopping, and did some of that expensive stuff you can't do with a family of six.

I think the concept of scuba diving is so cool, but I have issues just snorkeling! (I *LOVE* to snorkel, but I have a deviated septum, which makes it difficult to deal with the mask) AND I have bad eustation tubes. Flying can be painful; I'd hate to think what scuba diving would do. And besides, I *do* think it's too many things to think about at one time for me. I'd probably drown... :-)
Glad you enjoyed it, glad you had a laidback time. I need to see what that's like some time!

Down south in this case = Eilat. The farthest south we can go without leaving the country.
Aww, it sounds like scuba would be an issue for you. It's definitely not for people with ear problems... really, though, it ended up being pretty different from what I expected. Very cool, but... different. It always looks so effortless in the movies, and it really isn't.
