Holy shit, it's 4am for me and I just spent the last 2 days reading this thing on FF.net. My dissertation has been on standby and my lectures have been pointless because I haven't been able to think straight.

It's AMAZING. Omg, I can't believe I have only just found it, and I swear to God that I will be on edge now waiting for your next chapter. Seriously, CANNOT WAIT.

:DDD I'm glad you like it!
If it's at all a comfort, while writing the fic is probably just as distracting... it's a miracle I'm managing to not fail university >_>

Haha, same here. I have only been writing for this fandom for the last few months but I'm hooked completely, especially when it comes to reading incredible fics like yours. Your style is amazing- so sophisticated and so gripping and (as silly as it might sound) you have spurred me on to improve my own writing.

What are you studying at univeristy??? It's awesome to meet a fellow student! :D

:) I'm really glad you like my style. The truth is, I've been spitting blood over this fic, and I probably wouldn't write half as well if I didn't have such awesome betas to help me along. It's comforting to have reached a stage where I'm actually pleased with my own writing.
Good luck with your writing :)

I'm doing East Asian studies- I learn both Chinese and Japanese. What do you learn?

Lovely awesome!

I love your view of events, the reactions, and all of the details make me swoon. I am literally blushing and embarrassed for Alfons literally coming out of the closet. I hope everyone else takes it okay...

Well, keep going, you're doing a lovely job!

Oh yeah! You probably already have an idea about what's going on with Ed's alchemy (you're the author, duh), but has Ed tried using his blood?

:) Alfons is taking some heavy hits these chapters, even though he's not the one getting tortured.
Ed hasn't really mucked around with alchemy much, because the reason he can't do it now is different from when he was stuck in Alfons' world. So even using his blood probably wouldn't help very much...
I'm very glad you enjoyed ♥

I love, love, LOVE, how Alfons was expecting Harris to react like his father. Amazing attention to detail, again.

Poor Ed's hit rock bottom, I really hope Alfons can snap him out of it.

*is a big fan of bratty Al*

I'm glad you enjoyed!
One of my betas, naatz is also a big fan of the Harris+Alfons interaction, so I get encouragement on that front XD
I'm having lots of fun with Al - I'm glad you're enjoying him, too :)

i have no real coherent review for this chapter other than that i squee'd when i saw it and that it left me shaking, physically.

I want to give them all hugs and tell them it'll be okay in the end, but you keep throwing these plot twists at us... please continue working on this fic- though it may be like pulling teeth it is quite worth the effort for your readers.

We salute you, epic longfic writer. your efforts are very much appreciated.

I'm really glad to hear you say this. The truth is that sometimes writing this fic gets really scary, if only because it's so long and I'm afraid I'll suddenly forget some key point and mess it all up ^^U
Thanks so much for commenting ♥

Yowsers. I can't believe it's been a month since I read this, on my crap phone, squeeing during my break at work--and I'm sorry it took me this long to come back, on a real computer, and comment!!

I'm excited to see that the trial is sorta starting, and that maybe, hopefully, sometime soonish Ed might be able to get back with all of his loved ones. Yeah, okay, trials are long and messy stuff, but, it's inching towards some kind of resolution of that part of the story. And Roy's reaction to this, Al's reaction to this . . . poor Al. He's going to go through all kinds of devastating WTF-ery in this story.
