Oh, Ed, your perpetual guilt! This was a great chapter, and I loved seeing Al and Alfons have at it, and it was all hopeful and cute at the very end there, hooray! I'm excited to see how they're gonna win this trial.
:) Ed is a silly, isn't he? I'm glad you liked the chapter, though I admit, I didn't expect you to think it was all hopeful and cute XD I think this fic has permanently skewed my perceptions of all things happy.
I guess optimism is necessary with this fic XD and hey, Ed's trying. Remember, it's been four years since he last had the chance to show off his big-brother skillz!
My reading time is a tad limited for the next few days, so if I don't reply immediately, it's *not* that I'm not salivating or didn't enjoy it! I *will* be back!!! :-D
Ed's been taking a lot of hard knocks lately, but Al is the one I've really been feeling sorry for. Also, I've been sort of exasperated that all they can seem to do is hurt each other. Now, finally, things are starting to go right. Thank goodness that the Elrics were backed into a corner where honesty and communication were their only options.
Thank you for another chapter, and as for Mirrorworld coming to a close, aaarg, I don't know how to feel about this. Long live Hei/Ed! ^^;
One of the things I've been really paying attention to are the varying responses towards Al in this fic, and I'm glad you feel for him. But remember that Ed and Al haven't seen each other in four years, and each one came with a whole lot of baggage the other didn't know about, and yet they kept assuming they could just go with the flow. It makes sense that until they actually realize they need to work on their relationship, it would suffer....
Definitely long live Hei/Ed! I'm also feeling so weird about nearing the end of this fic, but then I remember that I have Diaspora waiting, so that cheers me up :) and I've been writing this fic for three years... I figure I've certainly devoted enough to it!

And if they don't win...I will surely enjoy the story anyway, so leave me to my dreams of triumph! ;)

I had a lot of fun writing out Ed and Alfons' argument, it's good to hear that it worked out. ♥
