I just recommended this story to a flist friend so I figure I'd better come back and tell you that this is now my canon, no matter what Show decides to do next. Will there be more? Will there? Will there? This just broke my heart, but in the best way possible. The way Dean tells him he'll be there, even if Sam never gets better. This is what made me love these boys in the first place. You nailed it.
