I especially loved :
"“I can’t do this without you, Sam.” The meaning has warped over the years, slowly, innocently enough that neither of them noticed-- like the monster in a lover's clothing, or the devil who loves you best."
and "Sam says, “Nebraska a mistake. But I was young. And I learned.”
Except he didn’t, is the thing. Not really."
Oh boys.

“Use my body. Like so many before.”
Argh, this is sad, Bitter and grim and utterly believable.
You're certainly not alone is feeling deeply conflicted about this season. Sam of all people deserves autonomy over his own body, if nothing else. I am fascinated by all the possibilities (including the really dark ones you've presented here so beautifully) but it can be hard to watch.

I'm actually excited about the possibilities too though. I'm just worried that Show won't give it the proper gravitas. I mean, I feel like Dean crossed a pretty serious line here. I always accepted that Sam forgives Dean and that's just how it is, but this is one of those things that I'm having a hard time stomaching, and if the show just glosses over how utterly WRONG the situation is, I'm going to be so upset D:

I especially love the scene where Sam threatens Ezekiel out of his body, and his not hiding his feelings as if reproaching Dean for not respecting his will. But they still love each other... I'm totally glad that you wrote this to present the Sam that wants like any human does.
