yeah, so i got a migraine today at work. Best place to be for filmmaking is New York because there is a large amount of available resources. Not so much LA, cause they're almost all owned by big studios. We have a huge indie film scene, lots of actors and filmmakers cutting their teeth here. And if you pursue it, I'd love to work with you and show you the ropes on shooting.
Other good places are Boston, and I think Denver. As far as schools, New York, Boston, LA, and Austin have good programs.
One thing you must absolutely learn is screenwriting format. I'd get on that as soon as possible to get yourself used to it. I've stopped writing prose cause I decided the only thing I'm really going to use writing for is films, comics and other miscellaneous stuff. Besides, prose is too tough for me.
