okay, so the old year sucked and i have no hope for the new year. my job suddenly is no longer fun to go to; and it isn't just because of the customers anymore; and i am no longer allowed to take my i-pod to work anymore. apparently the management wants to drive me insane in the mornings while i count the safe down to the point that i want shove

I think going fulltime to school is a great idea. It'll give you the time you need to step back from the working world and realize your life goals better. Although it seems like you know what direction you want to go in. Still, it'll give you a break from the grossness the working world has to offer. Also, I would say in terms of being a director, that's something you need to pursue consciously. Go to a film school or get involved in independent shoots.

I'm sorry to hear your job isn't cool anymore. I've been in the same ditch for a while now. But keep your chin up. Things can turn around. Ganbatta ne!
