[All this talk about Valentine's Day has cheered Keu up a bit; as a result, he's decided to go get gifts and cards for people. Anyone who he knows fairly well will be getting a basket of baked goods and fruit, regardless of gender. [Derek is minding his own business, probably making his way to the library, when the smell hits him. Oh, he's familiar with it; you can't escape it when you go into a vampire's nest. But at least this time it isn't intermingled with the scent of weeks and sometimes months of bodily decay and offal.

But still...it's not a good thing when you can smell that. Derek immediately starts trying to track it down, and comes across Keu and his pile of...is that human hearts?

You're like the third person today to ask that. It's a gift for a giant wolf god, they didn't actually come from anybody, and I didn't hurt anyone to get them.

Well, I tried being sneaky about it, but people found me anyway. Yes, I expected questions, but not this many.

By the way, as far as I know, there's another wolf god keeping this one in check. Nobody's going to get snacked on.

...And finally, I used up my entire supply of magic to create these. They never came from an actual person, even though I really put my heart into it. [Keu chuckles, just a little bit.]

I thought you wanted me to get someone's bones for you. By the way, I never asked, but did you want specifically human or would any humanoid work?

Oh, and the hearts are just a little gift. Eat them if you want, or don't. I got something for everyone I knew, and this just seemed fitting. Some of the looks I got, though... moon and wind, I think people are going to watch me closely now.
