Weird. Morteza forgot my birthday entirely, partly because he was so wound up about all the pesky details of Mina & Jeremy's house buying process. I was tempted to show him the stack of corporate gift cards I had received (I mean, honestly, even Victoria's Secret remembered!!) but that would have been mean. Anyway, he can be forgiven for thinking my birthday was already over because when we were in LV with Taj, Mina & Jeremy, they gave me my gifts early since they wouldn't see me on the day. When he realized he had forgot and offered to take me out to dinner, I told him he could take me out on the 24th when we have Dining Out for Life in Houston and a bunch of restaurants in town give a percentage to the AIDS Foundation. Therein lies my revenge, sort of (he doesn't like driving into town if he can help it!)But other than that it was okay because everyone else remembered (even my brother called, surprise!) I went to yoga in the morning and it was a beautiful day.
