Recently I called a friend of mine who was visiting Canada and her plane was delayed so I talked to the Hotel person.
Later she told me that "some gentleman with a foreign accent called"

I don't have a foreign accent!

I may be a redneck from Kentucky but I speak English (sorta)

I still think it was funny tho.
