What's so awesome is that americans as a whole are so deluded that they can't even begin to conceptualize a better system. We are taught from birth that we are the most free and the most prosperous, both of which generally translate to the perceived ability to accumulate material wealth. Most people are so enamored by this empty promise that they are blind to the steady erosion of our freedoms, our economy (at least on the small scale), our families, our environment, and much of what we hold dear. Sort of an inability to see the trees for the forest.
On another note hows it been going? Are you enjoying Dr. Lowney's class? Her domestic violence class has been consistently fascinating. Culture and Personality has been insanely challenging, which isn't a bad thing.
