they're beginning a space program in malaysia. and all the people are encouraged to vote by text message on who they want to be their first astronaut. now that's what i call democracy!

NASA is no longer a governement program, they became private like in the mid '90's, and they've had little funding since then... I agree though NASA did used to be a lot more ambitious then they are now...
