TLA silliness amongst software engineers

I continue to be amazed and dismayed at the rampant use of TLAs (Three Letter Acronyms) amongst the IT / Software Engineering community ( Read more... )

The trick is to enter W A S in Google (three letters with spaces, no quotes). Or to stop hanging out with software engineers.

Search engineduckduckgo is also pretty good at disambiguation -- it gives context at the top of search results, which often includes spelling out acronyms.
