I love how Joe could just touch Nick's sideburn with one finger or something, but no, he has to stroke Nick's hair with his whole hand. And Nick doesn't move away until Joe is finished.
I noticed that part too with Nick singing to Joe, trying to get him to react. He keeps getting closer and closer until Joe finally smiles for him.
The watermelon anecdote near the end cracked me up so hard. Someone mentions watermelon and he stops and goes, "Funny story about watermelon..." like he's fifty years old or something. And then he kept making sure to check that Kevin and Joe weren't laughing at him and at the end he actually said, "BEST STORY OF ALL TIME." Ahahhah, I love him.
Ahaha, that watermelon story made me, YET AGAIN, wonder what century Nick Jonas is from. "I was sitting on the fence, spitting watermelon seeds while my father worked on the jalopy..." Nick's stories are always SENIOR CITIZEN STORIES.
Seriously, and he's all weirdly formal, which makes it even better when he cracks and goes all little boy goofy or when Joe gets him all flustered, like how he could barely talk after the tackle-hug during that one chat.
Also, this post reminded me, that District 9 high-five was so funny. Really, Nick, you want to give your brother a high-five just because you guys saw a movie twice?
Okay, I will stop commenting here and go write something for the boyfriends_fic birthday thing.
YEAH. Joe doesn't touch Nick's sideburn (no-burn). He GENTLY STROKES THE WHOLE SIDE OF NICK'S FACE AND DOWN HIS HAIRLINE, OKAY.
And it's so WITHIN THE DAILY NORM for Nick that he like, doesn't realize until Joe's done that 'Oh, wait people are watching" and THEN he reacts and is like HEY. But at first he just keeps talkin', because Joe strokes his face all the time, whatever.
The District 9 high five WAS super adorable! Nick looked so amped for that high five.
And ahahaha sideburn touching moment! What I love most about that moment is how serious and focused Joe looks in those caps as he goes in for it.
A lil moment that totally got me was at abut 1:14 in, Nick touches Joe's arm as he's chatting away about pulling apart songs or something or other. Completely random - just touches him because he's there.
Not to be redundant, but the sideburn touch and the District 9 high-five. I wanna see "District 9" now just because Nick and Joe saw it twice and loved it so much...they high-fived each other.
Not really Joick moments, but I oddly died laughing when Kevin suggested backpacking across Europe to see all of their shows. Also, I was just as excited as Kevin when Nick started playing "7:05". I LOVE that song.
