Lieutenant, since Ensign Tanner's been transferred back to the transporter room, I have an opening in the warp core. How familiar are you with dilithium crystal maintenance? Would you be interested? I could use someone who isn't a complete and utter moron knows even a little bit so I don't feel like I have to watch the core every second.

Ha. Manage not to break anything, and I'll be fine. I swear so far they've just given me incompetent and otherwise inept workers so far. The plan is that I can sort of mentor you for a few shifts and then hand her over so I can get some rest, so whenever you're up to it, let me know and we can get started.
