Have I been under a rock over the past few years, or did Christmas decorations start exceptionally early this year?  As in, there's no more Thanksgiving anymore.  We go straight from Halloween to Christmas now, and stores don't even bother putting up fall or Thanksgiving stuff.
It's all in the name of selling more products: Christmas is much more

Christmas doesn't start until the day after Thanksgiving OR December 1.
