I've been talking about getting back into writing for a long while.  I've been missing my journalism and web design days.  With my recent fascination with reading local blogs, I've decided to take a stab at it myself.  I'm excited because it's a great opportunity to work on my craft since I'm a little bit rough and have some fun in the process.

Sounds like the Irish festival was fun this year. I remember volunteering for that one year. I got to help out with one of the beer trucks, and as a thank you for helping out, they let us drink all the free beer we could! And Guinness was on tap, too! Yes, volunteering pays off,... ;-)

Pittsburgh had a pretty big St. Patty's Day celebration, too. Unfortunately, Hillary came to town, marched in the parade, and kinda spoiled the show for us all. On the bright side, there was a sizable presence of Obama supporters to give her sufficient boos,... :-)
