So they are greenlighting the film adaptation of Sweeney Todd. It's going to star Johnny Depp, whose singing experience has yet to be determined, and directed by Tim Burton. Well, at least it will be dark. There has been no further comment on casting in any of the roles, so it remains to be seen who will be joining him on this venture. I'm curious

I second the huzzah for "The Princess Bride" although Seth Marion borrowed my copy freshman year and has yet to return or replace it. Damn you Smarion!

On the other hand, if the Sweeny Todd news is true, it should at least be entertianing even if Johnny can't sing. Fingers crossed.
