You should see how even more satisfied he looks when he makes someone bleed! (I'm only kind of kidding... he can be very sweet at times. He just has that "kitten enthusiasm" right now, and I really don't believe he knows what he's doing most of the time.)

I got an easy solution to this from the SPCA. Unroll about a foot of toilet paper and sprinkle it with red pepper or tobasco sauce, roll it back up, and replace it. He'll get the message the first time he tries to tearit up. You may need to do it a few more times befire he understands not to go near it again.

I was just thinking that... knowing me, I'd forget what I had done to the toilet paper and it would backfire on me.

I really don't think that would stop Elliot. He probably likes hot sauce. I'm thinking of inventing some kind of "toilet paper clip" that goes over the toilet paper rendering it useless to kitties, but is easy to remove for people.

He's been doing this since before he went under the knife... I give him everything a child needs! He lives in a beautiful home, he's got all of the food and water he could possibly want, he's got toys at the wazoo....yet, he still does this! BRAT! BRAT! BRAT!

He's way worse than Ethan ever was!
