A Very Hickory Farms Christmas.

When I was a kid, if your family received a gift from Hickory Farms, it was supposed to be a big deal. Oh look... the Hendersons sent us a gift basket from Hickory Farms! How generous of them. When I was a kid, I used to be fascinated with the catalogs for these places. I always wanted to see all the different kinds of cheese, especially. No surprise that, in my adulthood, I became a cheese fanatic.

I always loved looking at the catalogs, too..... but then when I'd go in the actual store and see the stuff firsthand, it was a tremendous letdown.

We have a totally awesome store here in Indy called "The Cheese Shop" that has the best cheese. It rivals cheese shops I've been to in bigger cities. But it's not cheap!

Yet another reason we'll never love one another. I like Hickory Farms. I, unlike you, embrace my trashy roots. Mom also used to buy those Cadbury cookie tin things when we were kids. I still buy them today. They're $9.99 at Target and they always remind me of mom.
