Why Can't Tootie and Natalie Be As Important As Captain Kirk and Spock?

I have tried to become more mainstream in my movie tastes, but at the end of the day... it's just not me. I can't help what I'm not interested in. I can't force myself to enjoy things a lot of people do. I don't know what it is about these movies, but I see the previews for them and I'm either indifferent or hate what I see. But would we really want to sit through the remake with Hayden Panettiere as Blaire?

But, yes, as someone who was called a "douchebag" for pointing out the logic/storytelling flaws with the Star Trek film, and usually bemoans sitting through what most people in America call entertainment in movie theatres during the summer months (especially), I heartily agree with you.

The most painful part about going to the theatre sometimes is sitting through those coming attractions. This summer is SO out of whack with my tastes/sensibilities...Terminator/G.I. Joe/Transformers all look to be terrible (even if I actually followed those franchises).

I was making a joke about Zachary Quinto playing Spock (since he's Sylar on "Heroes" which is the "it" show these days...Hayden plays "the cheerleader" Claire).

But, yeah, I'd love to see more adventures of the gals at Eastland, but I don't know if I'd want them to change the continuity in the same ways they do...imagine if they decided to change the story and it was Tootie, Natalie, MOLLY and Jo who lived with Mrs. Garrett...?

I thought "Lost" was the "it" show (I don't watch that, either.) kevinduran May 17 2009, 23:35:42 UTC
"30 Rock" is the "it" show in my world. :-) I barely even know what "Heroes" is... all I know is that a couple of my friends used to watch it, but don't anymore.
