I have tried to become more mainstream in my movie tastes, but at the end of the day... it's just not me. I can't help what I'm not interested in. But, yes, as someone who was called a "douchebag" for pointing out the logic/storytelling flaws with the Star Trek film, and usually bemoans sitting through what most people in America call entertainment in movie theatres during the summer months (especially), I heartily agree with you.
The most painful part about going to the theatre sometimes is sitting through those coming attractions. This summer is SO out of whack with my tastes/sensibilities...Terminator/G.I. Joe/Transformers all look to be terrible (even if I actually followed those franchises).

But, yeah, I'd love to see more adventures of the gals at Eastland, but I don't know if I'd want them to change the continuity in the same ways they do...imagine if they decided to change the story and it was Tootie, Natalie, MOLLY and Jo who lived with Mrs. Garrett...?
