you use the macbook there is a track pad at the bottom right?
where you can use your fingers and move the cursor.

and the newer track pas from mac is multitouch, you put 2 finngers or 3 or 4 fingers on the pad and move it will command a different action, like on your iphone.

But if you are using an iMac, there is only a mouse, you cannot enjoy the shoikness of a multtouch trackpad..

so now they came out with this HUGE multitouch trackpad that can be used with a desktop...

but you might want to use the mighty mouse first. you can use the 2 finger swipe...

erm i;m already using that ... yes can sswipe .. but cannot switch application. and the surface curved a little difficult to maneuver
