Like everyone needs to hear about every little detail of your day. I mean sometimes it seems people are just begging for attention with the shit they write.

I'm going to New York tommorow, it'll be the 2nd Sunday in a row.

DeadJournal is so much better than LiveJournal. I hate LiveJournal. It's like a less evil version of myspace.com. I HATE myspace.com. I can't even describe how metaphoric it is for the pathetic misinformation and shittiness of my generation.

I pity all the people that can't read my DeadJournal. Really.

I think, though, that if the details of your day mean something, some universal theme and symbol, then it's okay to share them. I write in DJ for my own benefit. 99% of my LJ entries are just copied and pasted from DJ. Only about 50% of my DJ entries go onto LJ. LJ people are missing out.

Details are good. Think about The Catcher in the Rye. He goes into a lot of detail, and it all means something, and it's all important.
Think about Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind. You get rid of all the details so you can forget the big picture. Only with the details can there be a big picture.
There are countless other examples of why details can be amazing.

But for the most part I agree with you. Most of LJ is full of stupidheads. =[
