I just want to say that I am SOO impressed with Florida legislature right now. As of October 1 2005 Florida is enacting the BEST "Stand Your Ground" laws in the country. Absolutely incredible!

So, on my way out of the parking garage this morning I saw a bumper sticker that said "Guns cause crime like flies cause garbage" (or something along those lines and it made me think of you. Yes, I know it's random but what can ya do?

I just read a little bit about this new "Stand Your Ground" law, but I'll refrain from commenting about it. I don't think I know enough about it yet and it'll probably just cause a big argument anyway. You know how things go around here.

LOL, that's funny. You should really read up on it, it's actually interesting. And when you read on it please read BOTH sides of everyones story, as i'm sure you know there will be two extremes on this one.

Actually I read up on it a little bit before I posted that comment, but it was mainly talking about the issues against it. That's why I didn't say anything about it. You know I wouldn't just jump on one side without knowing both sides. I'm not a follower like some people tend to be. You should post some links of some good articles and websites that talk about it because it does seem pretty interesting.

School is going well. I'm really liking it so far and I've met a lot of great people. How's everything going with you? Next time we're both in E-wood we should do dinner or something. I see you maybe twice a year for a couple minutes here and there...so not cool. haha! Hope all is well!
