Christianity has not been tried and found wanting;
it has been found difficult and left untried.

its definintly difficult. there are lots of times I want to give up, but what can we turn to? To whom can we liken GOD?

Yeah. I was thinkin about that today, too. You know the warfare we talked about at the Peru meeting last night? I've been feelin it, been tempted to stray, but if I did, where would I go? Awesome.

Yea I was talking to a friend of mine the other day and she wont come to our youth group becuase of people and it just makes me upset becuase she is just putting reason out there that will allow here to be "christian" the way she wants to... You know not a complete lifestyle... Oh well yesterday was a break through I got her to talk more than ever before.... Pray for her, shes saved but I want her to get involved with a group of friends that will encourage her to actively pursue her walk with God.

i don't want to seem melancholy but unfourtunatly as much as we would like to beliece that there is a good community base at the Ppoint it's not raching everyone, even those that have been there for a whil

community is what you make it. i dont come to the point to find community for myself, but so that others can find it. I don't meet new people every week for myself, but so that they feel welcome. I dont put myself in uncomfortable positions with people i dont know so that i can say i met someone, but because God has called me to stand in the gap between Him and his people. Like kevin Meyers always says "How are you doing, church family"? Not to be mean or bash you, God knows i love the point and every person there. If someone wants community and isn't finding it, i would have to ask how hard are you looking? How many people did you meet last week? How many hands did you shake? How many numbers did you get, and how many lunch dates did you set up? How many people did you promise that you would pray for them? How many of those did you actually pray for? Thats community. And its not about me, but its about God. Its about how i can serve Him, by serving his people. "What you do unto the least of these you are doing unto me". If everyone ( ... )

Too many people blame the church due to the people in it failing to realize they are just humans like they are... The next step to getting over that is to step up to the plate and make things happen...

"We tend by a secret law of the soul to move toward our mental image of God."What comes into your mind when you think about God?" we might predict with certainty the spiritual future of that man. Were we able to know exactly what our most influential religious leaders think of God today, we might be able with some precision to foretell where the Church will stand tomorrow." Tozer

If only we can believe God is who He says He is.
