Ryan, a MS student stood up Sunday to tell everyone how he planned to be different in 2005 and stated, "My New Year's Revolution is..."

I don't know if he meant to say it but it stuck.

revolution

n 1: a drastic and far-reaching change in ways of thinking and behaving;
resolution
The state or quality of being resolute; firm determination.

help me on that. revolution instead of resolution.
resolution: the act of changing
revolution: outcome; change
is that right? public rather than secret?

at 6:30AM the gym was crowded today. only because it is 01/04 give them two months maybe only two weeks and they will be in their beds sleeping. because they made a resolution. checked it off, marked it down.

sure, the life of a revolutionary involves resolve - but with revolution as the goal and not resolution - the vision ahead is so compelling it drives me to whatever means necessary.
