how does believing in nothing cost so much. i know nihilism well i know nihil and adding an ism just makes into a belief structure it seems but yea back to the original question. why is it so expensive???

well i guess it partly depends on which of the 7 definitions you subscribe to. i'm going to use the metaphysics one, since it's the most common (basically, nothing exists, is knowable, or can be communicated). So, it's expensive because if you truly subscribe to the belief, you have no regard for anything...me, I never carried it outside of the personal sphere (and i was never a purist), but basically, nihilism destroys your spirituality, your soul, and leaves you doubting everything and trusting no one. and it leads to more risk-taking behaivor which usually ends up at the very least in bruises everywhere and at the most, a trip to the ER. and as humans, we're almost hard-wired to care and be involved with the larger world, so rationally gravitating towards nihilism is basically a reversal of what our higher nature is supposed to be. of course, this is just my undertanding of nihilism, i never actually truly studied Nietzsche's writings on the subject.
