Keep in mind, the 40D is significantly larger than the Rebels are.

You know I just realized that the pic I posted is not what the 40D really looks like; the real one has the back buttons below the LCD, not on the left side. And this picture is also missing a dedicated autofocus button (no more snowflake to focus).
