Well, Mr. Photographer Man lives in Ventura (and looked to be about 19 years old)... but hey, it never hurts to ask!

You do realize of course that store cards are traditionally free and that you probably have numbers stored in your phone that are magically discount the price of store branded soda. Or as I remember the application was a fairly short tri-fold, and although ours was a wee bit more confusing than necessary that was because it had some *optional* features which required more information.

Yes, but it was a Vons. I've been in a Vons maybe six times in the last six years. There's no such thing as "free" when they're collecting your personal information. I don't mind a little junk mail, but I do try to keep it to a minimum.

I don't anticipate Safeway will send you mail. You could try using my grandma's phone number which is attached to my account information ... but you don't know that yet.

The VonsClub card at one point did have a handy feature where it attached itself to a customer's checking account. This was before the rise of the Visa debit card, and at one point was helpful and a benefit.

1) I am indeed very jealous! I saw the pictures as you uploaded them last night (I happened to be updating my flickr photostream at the same time) and made many comments. "Shelves and shelves full of random bits," eh? Now I wish I could remember exactly what part had gone wrong in my Terra Cresta machine, because I bet you've got one there somewhere. I still do plan on someday turning it back into the Donkey Kong it once was (it's an actual Nintendo cabinet)... sigh, a man can dream, can't he?

2) Wow! Er... check your e-mail!

We have rows upon rows of shelves of miscellaneous repair parts for hundreds of types of games in the warehouse here, and just as much if not more in the warehouse at the main office. If you ever do figure out what part you need, let me know and I can check to see if we have it. Even if we don't, we can probably order it for pretty cheap. :)
