made it to my sister's house. woke up feeling awful, suddenly hit me just after dining with family and future in-laws. almost blacked out, couldn't feel my limbs, so dizzy. got some fresh air. now, horrid flu. chills, nausea, and muscle aches are so much worse when you already have a muscle problem. pain pain pain like knives all up and down my ( Read more... )

Well you were within fifteen miles of me, and I drove past Azusa not once but twice today and will do so again tomorrow ... but what can I say? I can't take the sick out of you.

I surely do not mean to upstage you on your own livejournal, as I have nothing but utter sympathy for you, but I can at least match, if not top that. Christmas of... 2005 I believe it was, I had double pneumonia [which means it was infesting both of my lungs]. it was bad. I couldnt even walk down to the kitchen without needing to rest. I had the worst fatigue ever, and my lungs hurt, breathing hurt, eating hurt, everything hurt. Kyle and his whole family was going to Santa Cruz to spend time with Kyles sisters boyfriends family, and I was supposed to go with them because Kyle and I wanted to spend our first christmas together, uh, together. Since I was sick, I didn't want to go. The idea of sitting in a car for 6 hours didnt appeal to me, nor did staying at a strangers home while deathly ill. I knew, however that I would NEVER be able to drive down to Ventura to spend time with my OWN family at Christmas [even if I could, it wouldn't have been wise to bring my illness around my family], so I pretty much reserved myself to saying home ( ... )
