Two happy occurrences this week:
1. The hiatus-related summer fic slowdown finally ended! My inbox has been stuffed since last weekend. Outstanding.
2. This marks the 50th edition of Weekly Recs. In order to make past recs a little more accessible (there have been about 500 stories featured) I set up weeklyrecs, which has individual recs categorized and ( Read more... )

Sorry about these weird extra tags that's showing up in the entry. When I go into the HTML editor to remove it, it isn't there, so go figure.

Wow, I made the recs. What an honor!

Thank you and what a lovely selection of fics.

I wouldn't go calling it an honor--it's just my opinion after all--but I did like your story very much.

Great selection!

And thank you for the honour - I do what I can to promote Jeanne, since she is so often maligned.

Really good insight into Jeanne! I'm still kind of sad she didn't get her happy ending.

Me too. Need to find some good Tony/Jeanne fic that "fixes" things, if it exists. Maybe I'll check your recs list tomorrow afternoon...:)

Well I don't know how posting on LJ works, really, or what this LJ editor stuff means. But if it translates to more weekly recs I'm happy for it! I read Adrift and thought the Ziva there was brilliant - one of those pieces of writing that seems more like how real life actually works than the show itself usually does. Thanks!

I've read "Adrift" quite a few times over that past few weeks, trying to observe how the author builds that story. As I mentioned, I expected to hate it, but as you say, it really, really, works.
