What parts did you find captivating, interesting, noteworthy?

I thought the brightest moment was the flashback, but it was it was a pretty brief scene.

I liked that the backstory we got on Tony/Jason actually added to the case instead of detracting from it (which is often the case when we get these type of storylines).

My favorite part was the case. I found it interesting and actually brilliant that the faulty wiring in the Navy vessels would be used in an act of terrorism.

If the rest of the finale arc carries through on what has started out as a strong plot - I will be most pleased. Crossing my fingers it doesn't fizzle like P2P did.

I laughed when Tony was ordering the pizzas.

I liked the looks between Gibbs and him. And I liked Ziva and McGee talking to him about it.

It felt sort of rushed. I don't know.

I kind of laughed at McGee's moment of triumph over the guy who insulted him, way later in the episode.

This episode was seriously lacking for me in funny, natural-feeling interaction between the team. Interesting that you bring up the pizza scene. To me, that felt like they were pulling jokes out of 80s movies (not the awesome kind).

(continued, jumped the gun on submitting)

I don't really know either. The lack of positives is reading like a negative, although it wasn't bad, really.

However, they have set up a rather dull season ending arc. Faulty wiring?

Very meh? :)

I don't know. It wasn't a bad episode per se, but I'm so tired of Tony back stories and him being all angsty with all this insight that it did little for me. Especially when none of the other characters get even a little itty bitty quality insight kind of writing. This whole season has felt very "look at how much you should love Tony." Yet ironically, I liked him better before.

The last scene was good but reminded me of the good scene with the eye at the end of Two-Faced which was the starting cliffhanger for a craptastic final arc.

I very much appreciated that lack of JLC. This show has a way of overselling people I originally like (Tony lately, JLC as Ryan) and making me sick of them.

Well look at that, I did have something to say... LOL

I had to wait a few days to watch it but wanted to agree with the comments here. Meh, basically. Don't the best episodes have a mix of emotion (funny, sad, scary, whatever) and suspense? I felt like this one didn't bring it very strong on either score. Nobody cared about the dead guy, since he was a bad guy. Okay. But it was also hard to care about the Baltimore kid/Dinozzo story either, since the kid is now a grownup and still angry at Dinozzo for saving his life. Not very sympathetic. It might have been more interesting if Tony had actually had to make a difficult, haunting choice and now had to face the consequences of it. Certain death for everyone versus saving yourself and one of the kids is unfortunate, but twenty years on not something to be agonizing over, particularly if the child who died was a stranger. And the thing is, Tony wasn't torn up about it - he had the situation well in hand. If he's not emotionally invested in it why would we be ( ... )
