NCIS 9x22 "Playing with Fire"

-Weird that the cold open is the same scene as the end of last episode. And the perpetrator got himself blown up?
-Navy blue camo makes me laugh every damn time. Such a ridiculous premise.
-No Vance again. Hmm. Rocky Carroll has been quite absent this season.
-Aw, little McGee is going off to investigate the crime scene all by himself! (Let's ignore the fact that a solo investigator on a terrorism investigation seems a tad implausible.)
-Ducky haing personal problems? And hiding things from Gibbs. Uh oh.
-I predict North Korea will turn out to be a red herring.
-That teaser was chockers full of information and action.

-Oh nosy Tony and bad puns from Ziva.
-New character: analyst Emma, who friendly with Ziva and is jealous of her weekend plans. I'm guessing the plans will be a bachelorette party for Breena.
-I like that McGee stands up to Tony a bit even when he's booting.
-That mailman with the stamp obsession is so random.
-I like Gibbs sitting at his table late at night in a sweatshirt and glasses, still working.
-Ha at Ducky giving Gibbs a hard time about tea. Gibbs even drinks tea?
-This scene where Ducky asks Gibbs to be the executor of his (moneybags) will is both very touching and a little alarming. I feel very relieved to have just read about David McCallum re-signing for next season.

-I love Tony, Ziva, and McGee bantering and teasing each other at the crime scene. I love the look Ziva gives McGee after Tony hands him the barf bags.
-Ha at Ziva physically shutting up McGee to prevent him telling Tony about her plans.
-I actually said "Aww" out loud at Ducky's gift of tea to Gibbs.
-Ziva is going on a Pilates weekend with her landlady? The hell? Well my guess was wrong but I still think my guess makes more sense.
-I can always pick out Cardea & Schenck episodes because even the expository dialogue is snappy and interesting. I wasn't at all bored by that scene of Ziva interviewing Abbott's boss.
-Its nice to see Ducky talking to the dead. He doesn't do that as much.
-Stan Burley! It's nice that Burley talked to Gibbs after Franks died.
-Interesting that Tony says he hasn't been down to the basement in a while. I guess with Ryan around the team is probably not as welcome to drop by Gibbs's house these days.

-"Andiamo, bambina!" "Dove?" Love it.
-I also love that Tony figured it out. Also love the shot of the elevator doors closing on Tony and Ziva--another shot that reminds me of that one from "Dog Tags" that I posted a few episodes ago.
-McGee and Abby lab sleepover!
-I called that the Korean was actually English. That's really bushleague code, fictional terrorists.
-Uh oh, imminent pissing contest between Burley and DiNozzo once he starts hitting on Ziva.
-Abby apparently still talks to (and about) Burley often.
-Fantastic shot panning across Ziva and Stan to Tony putting on his sunglasses.
-They remembered Ducky's nephew!!!!! I've always wondered about that. V. impressed with Cardea and Schenck.
-Why are all these people wearing their covers indoors? Even I've picked up enough by watching NCIS to know you're not supposed to do that.
-Funny bit with it being Stan who made Tony a petty officer and Ziva an officer.
-So typical that Tony still has the bikini photos as blackmail.
-Oh shit, Burley!

-Oh thank god, he's okay.
-Nice moves blocking in the suspect, Fullerton.
-Ooh, Gibbs interrogation via Skype.
-Harper Dearing (Richard Schiff) is behind the attacks? Uh oh.
-Gibbs is in a lab alone? Utterly unheard of.
-I feel like that's a corner of Abby's lab we've rarely if ever seen before.
-Snazzy scarf, Ziva.
-These are more people than we've ever seen at NCIS before.
-And Dearing goes on the wall. In Osama bin Laden's spot. Really?
-I thought this episode was strong, but I am still not convinced by this stupid wiring terrorism plot.
