when I saw this floating around earlier, I debated watching it... I have decided not to.
The scene as aired was enough - no way I am going to subject my shipper heart to more (even knowing the end story).
I can see Tony with a crucifix - I think it fits perfectly with his uneasy relationship. I think he might be like a lot of people - he believes that the grace of God is for other people while God's punishment/wrath is all he can expect.
Oh, just go watch it anyway. It's just a TV show, and it's interesting. If it makes you feel better, the next clip on the reel is from "Under Covers."
I think wearing a crucifix is unexpected because from an outsider's view it looks like that person is very comfortable in his relationship with religion. I can't see Tony projecting that image. And darnit, now I have to urge to go see whether that chain is visible in any other episodes (or even earlier in the same episode).
I actually did look! In the clips of "One Last Score" on YouTube, you can't see anything except in the last scene. But then again Tony is almost always wearing a collared shirt and a tie so it would be impossible to see.
Very interesting! Now that we've seen the end of that relationship, and learned more about EJ, I don't have nearly so much trouble watching this as I might have had back then. I agree, it was a good choice to cut it, though.
The crucifix is very interesting indeed - but Tony does like to keep some parts of his life very private, so who knows? I've always imagined that he went to Catholic boarding schools (being Italian and all), and I could see him needing to cling to God because he didn't have a relationship with his own father. Part of why he's so conflicted could be because his playboy ways ran counter to all of that.
Of course this is all my own personal head-canon! Hee!
Lol...Well, I thought he was cute ^_^. I just think the scene was too long, maybe that's why they cut it, I don't know. But I found something amusing about it, and I'm Tiva supporter xD..weird me...

It really is awkward.
Also, the link then goes into other kisses between Tony and other girls.
