On the risk of sounding creepy and kind of like a stalker, I just thought I'd say hi and tell you that you're very beautiful. I stumbled across your facebook profile while looking for more people I know at Lawrence and had to stop and check out your profile. Being a band geek is definitely attractive in my mind. I was quite the band geek myself. I really got into marching band and always tried to set a good example for the rest of the band. Man, I miss those days. You seem like a really cool person, and I'm really disappointed I haven't managed to meet you yet. Maybe I'll get lucky one of these days and stumble into you. I'm probably not that lucky, though. Maybe it's worth a shot. Who knows how well we might get along? :-)

In retrospect, sending an anonymous message like that at 2:45 in the morning probably wasn't my best idea ever. Sorry if it came off as creepy or offensive. Sending a more subtle message at a reasonable hour would probably have been better. I just noticed this message a minute ago and am heading out for lunch now, but I'll make sure to send you a facebook message when I get the chance. Again, I apologize if my message hit you in a bad way. Yes, I am in the con. I'm a string player, so I guess that's why I haven't really seen you before. Anyway, I'm off. Talk to you later.

This'll probably be my last comment. The more I think this over, the more I feel that I executed a questionable plan very poorly. My choice of words and tone were not the best representation of myself, and I'm actually a bit ashamed of my actions. I feel like I have intruded and got off on the wrong foot, and for that I am sorry. I'm going to refrain from making any more comments or being intrusive. That really isn't the type of person I am.
