why are humans the only organisms to cry for emotional purposes, not simply to rid our eyes of unwanted material?

why do we lie to ourselves in an attempt to protect ourselves?

and finally...why do things never turn out quite the way they are expected?

is it me, or does no one use livejournal anymore? I'm starting to use myspace now.. since a million people convinced me to do it.. no one comments on my entries anymore.. :(
