I remember the first time I heard about Cat Power, I read a review of one of her shoes in an Athens newspaper. It said that she was so nervous she could barely speak, and she bent over in the middle of the show and asked the audience if they could see her tampon, or something like that. But when she finally got to singing everyone sang very quietly along with her and it was apparently very beautiful.

I'm so happy that's she seems to have gotten over that, though. I love her voice, too, and I would jump at the chance to see her perform.

Aww, I love Chan but her last album didn't do much for me. I saw her years ago during the crazy phase and the gig was pretty awful. Perhaps I should give her another try this tour.
