'aloud'? well I'm completely cool with you're opinion but saying it aloud perhaps I'd actually have to meet you in person! hee hee
I used the font for the DJs because it suits the romantic goth element and gives their names a suave aspect, which they deserve. But also, I often pair scripts after non-scripts, because I like the contrast. :)
thats really really beautiful. i love how the 'ceremony' and the date hits you in the face. it has a massive 3D feel from the background to the framing to the actual text. its very clever. and its all very velvety!
ooo! thanks so much! I appreciate your describing of why, it's good to know these things, because you spend hours crafting it and then people just say 'cool!' and you want more! ahahah
I'm glad 'Ceremony' and the date hit you first, that's the most important info - then the venue, when designing any event advertising!
So, I'm planning on coming to Panic on the 26th solo, so can I hang with you and your pals? :)
i found out last night that Ted's quite ill and unable to DJ so its been cancelled!!! im really really annoyed about it but what can you do. but if i find out that Ted's managed a great recovery ill let you know. i really really hope so. because i cant deal with not having a Panic a month.
you should check out Blitz the once. amazingly great music if you love 80's and random long forgotten 90s. the crowd was ridiculously try-hard goth and pretty much all the young clientel of the fetish clothes shops, but its ok, im just not used to mixing with goths anymore. seriously it was like stepping back into the early 90's it was WEIRD
exactly, usually the venue gets lost in the info in a lot of posters. and you have to read them about six times to figure it out, when its so filled of stuff and not easily readable and all this shit distracting your eyes. and this was very easy to read [and i have the worse roving eye problem when reading]
Oh! that's a shame! Gee... I'd KILL to DJ at Panic... hee hee... Serious, if they want me, I'm there! They actually came to my old club 'Sanctuary' last year and had a rad time.
If you didn't already know, I have hung out with goths too much and Blitz just like you said, had try hard goths etc there - I know too many of them. I have issues with a few. I cannot be around them anymore. I know the music would've been great, but DV8 is tired and all the fuckers that got there are.
I want to be able to go to an indie dance club where no goths or half goths or ex goths go!!
Also I have all that music and more in my DJ case. I want a different venue and I want a fresh crowd of well dressed interesting friendly people that I've never met before!
Yeah! It did for ages, I know! But it's actually been fully renovated and now has a fancy booth room on the way out to a huge new room at the back as well as a completely glass frontage on the ground level too!

Not sure if I'm aloud to give my actual opinion though.
I DO like everything, but the bottom font for the dj's looks a little strange.
