Abilities
Character's Canon Abilities:
Sora has the ability to call and wield a weapon known as the Keyblade. While it can act like a sword and be used against Heartless and Nobodies alike - the main purpose of the Keyblade is to seal or open the barriers between worlds. It can also lock worlds Keyholes to prevent Heartless from finding the heart of that world and overrunning it with darkness. The weapon can also lock and unlock any lock, whether it be from a small treasure chest to locked rooms. With the changing of the keychain attached to the end the Keyblade’s change appearance and can enhance other features of the wielder. The weapon has one distinct feature that makes it very picky about who holds it and the wielder must have a strong heart or in a few rare instances someone close to one with a strong heart can wield one.
Along with the Keyblade Sora has been given the ability to use magic and they can be strengthened the more he uses them. To accompany all of this he has physical abilities that help to enhance both his magic and fighting skills and some that just help him when he needs them. Each of his Forms have unique abilities unto themselves. Due to his time asleep when his Nobody was running around for nearly a full year, Sora has the ability to wield two Keyblades at once as it was a skill Roxas learned during their separated time. However these are unavailable to him without the help of Donald and Goofy, even without them around the Drive Forms increase Sora's speed and strength a bit.
Because Sora has not one but two hearts he has the ability to wield two Keyblades at once, a trait passed to his Nobody who was the first to succeed in the task. And if he completes the "Duel Stance" command while fighting his Nobody Sora can wield three Keyblades, making him the only character to do so.

Facility Ability Changes:
Months and months of having his Curaga spell down to 20% and how often he used it on pretty much a daily basis with the restriction on his powers lifted it's gone up a level. While this is not canon in KH a level 4 healing spell in it's cross-over FF series is Full-Cure. This is the most powerful spell and it can also remove status effects like poison and sleep but more often than not it will fail for Sora. Instead it just heals physical injuries 100%. (This will only be used with the other mun's approval.)
Sora has taken to sparring with another subject that was rather skilled in kenjutsu and while it wasn't exactly taught to him the time they spent just going at each other was actually very helpful in helping Sora pick it up as one of his abilities. This gives him a boost on his already unnatural speed and powerful sword strikes. While he's not an expert in this next part he is constantly working on - he's taken to studying and even predicting an enemies movement before they make it. This also has led Sora to not be the first to attack so he can watch the others move and try to sense out the way they were going to move.
Similar to what he'd been trying to achieve in Siren's Port the first time Sora is enhancing his abilities with the light within himself. Weeks of practice at half-power have gotten him to the point where while he's unlimited he can summon a ball of light, direct it wherever he wants to go, make it last as long as he wants. Sora will keep expanding on this and I'd like for him to one day be able to make Light Corridors that he can open and use to get him from one point to another on the island. (I know that trying to leave will get him killed.) Another thing he'll be trying is to make a shield out of light that's strong enough to deflect monsters through the darkness hours.

Spoiler Alert - Highlight to read: Some time prior to Birth By Sleep Sora's newly born heart encountered an injured heart and offered to connect their hearts - mending Ven's broken heart, and offering to help until Ven no longer needed it. At the age of four a pair of strangers came to the island, first Terra who Sora didn't actually talk to since the man was more interested in Riku and then Aqua. She recognized their friendship and asked Sora to protect Riku if he should ever fall into the hands of darkness and Sora readily agreed. Time passed and it found Riku and Sora hanging out on the beach late one night and as they go to leave Sora suddenly felt sad. His friend told him that maybe it was someone from another world trying to connect to him and to try and reach the sad person. Doing as instructed Sora closed his eyes and ended up being sent to the Awakening. It's here where he encountered Ven's lost heart who reluctantly said it was going back to sleep and asked to reside in Sora's heart for a while. The boy responded that as long as doing so would make it happy then he'd willingly do so. With that he was returned to the beach and Riku asked if he had reached, which Sora responded with a confirmation. Spoiler End.
A year later and a girl by the name of Kairi came to them from another world during a meteor shower. Five year old Sora carefully approached her and asked who she was and where did she come from. She was adopted by the mayor and the boys quickly became her friend. On another day the boys came across what became the Secret Place which had a door with no handle and while there they chatted about the meteor storm and Kairi's arrival. The three of them grew to be the best of friends with a dream to leave the islands behind. By the time Sora reached the age of fourteen they had built a raft and they had plans to start their journey - that is until darkness came to their island in the form of Heartless. To fight against them Sora has been chosen to wield a weapon called a Keyblade but he’s just not strong enough to save his friends or his world and all of them became separated.
Sora ended up in Traverse Town where he’s greeted by Pluto, King Mickey’s dog, but it isn’t long until he found Leon and it’s revealed to him that the Heartless are drawn by the Keyblade and as long as he wielded it they’ll keep coming for him. He’s also told that it’s not just a weapon, but served as a key to locking and unlocking each world’s keyhole which will prevent the darkness from taking over completely. As he’s going through Traverse Town Sora met up with Donald and Goofy who were looking for King Mickey and the one who held the Keyblade.
From one world to another the three battle Heartless, trying to save the Princesses of Heart and their worlds. While they were unable to save the Princesses the trio do manage to seal the keyholes and defeat the villains who are attempting to consume the worlds in darkness. Riku found them and when he discovered that they’re both looking for Kairi, only Sora had found new friends Maleficent used the chance to poison Riku’s mind with darkness. When they came across Riku in Neverland they see that he found Kairi only she won’t wake up and they follow him to Hollow Bastion, Maleficent’s stronghold.
They first come across Riku who took the Keyblade from Sora and Donald and Goofy follow after him, leaving Sora with the Beast who came to save one of the Princesses of Heart. With some words from Beast Sora picked himself up and trudged onward only to find himself once again faced with Riku. Even though they were instructed to follow the Keybearer Donald and Goofy side with Sora and once again the Keyblade is returned to Sora and together the three of them manage to overcome Riku who fled. Then they face off against Maleficent twice, her second form unlocked by Riku who had been taken over by Xehanort.
Xehanort told Sora that Kairi’s heart had been inside of him this whole time and that in order to give it back and to seal Kingdom Hearts that he had to give it back. Sora took Riku’s Keyblade and unlocked both of their hearts, and in the process of becoming a Heartless created Roxas and Namine - the Nobodies of himself and Kairi. Trapped in the darkness Sora can’t find his way back to the light while his Shadow self followed Kairi. She brought him back to his human form and .
After regrouping at Traverse Town, Sora went back to face Xehanort and when the Heartless attempted to let Kingdom Hearts fill him with darkness Sora loudly and boldly proclaimed that Kingdom Hearts is light. That light destroyed Xehanort but the Heartless tried to swarm the door. The trio rushed to close it only Riku and King Mickey are on the other side, still they insist that the door must be closed and together Mickey and Sora seal the door with their Keyblades. As the worlds began to restore themselves Kairi appeared on a piece of sandy land and Sora promised that once he’s found Riku and Mickey that they’d return to the island.
The details following that event are gone from Sora’s memories, but the trio made their way to Castle Oblivion where Organization XIII members led Sora and his friends through the memories of his heart while a girl named Namine implanted fake memories in their place. As they continued through the castle Kairi was replaced with Namine and Sora became determined to save her from the Nobodies. While Sora distracted Marluxia, Larxene and Axel three other Nobodies created a fake Riku that they thought would destroy Sora only to have him ‘defeated’ by Namine.
Eventually Sora saved Namine from the Nobodies and she swore to restore his memories as he slept. While he slept Sora’s Nobody - Roxas - moved around but none of Roxas’ memories transferred back to Sora when they reunited.
Roxas spent a year in Organization XII until he finally left them and was caught by Riku. He spent several days in a fake version of Twilight Town before finally returning to Sora and awakening him from his year-long slumber. Sora had a vague sense of being in Twilight Town before and he even cried when he left Roxas’ friends, but King Mickey had told them to continue on and so they did. They met up with Pete, who were waiting to see if his Heartless could make the master of the tower - Yen Sid - into a powerful Heartless. Once the trio made it to the top of the tower the sorcerer told them of the Nobodies and of Organization XII.
Just like before they traveled from world to world searching for their friends and defeating Heartless, saving the worlds from the Nobodies. When they finally made it back to Twilight Town they were told that a girl named Kairi had been looking for them and with Axel’s help made it to the world that belonged to the Nobodies. Everything was revealed there, Xemnas - really Ansem’s apprentice’s Nobody and leader of Organization XII - had been collecting hearts to try and make another Kingdom Hearts to try and give them all hearts. Sora also discovered the truth about Roxas and Namine while reuniting with his friends - even though Riku surrendered himself to the darkness in order to help Sora and no longer looked like himself anymore.
Slowly Sora and his friends defeat the remaining Nobodies until only Xemnas himself remained. They first fought him together, and it seemed like they had won. Namine opened a portal of darkness that allowed nearly everyone to escape but just as Riku and Sora are about to follow the portal closed and they are left to fight Xemnas.
Note: This is where he got pulled to live in Siren's Port for several months before returning to his fight with Xemnas. After his five months in Siren's Port he returned to the fight for two more rounds before Riku and Sora faced him one final time saying that while light, darkness and nothingness went on for eternity that didn't make Xemnas eternal. At this point is when he got snatched for a second time to spend nine months in a place called the Facility (described below).

Character Personality:
This boy has a brave and very heroic personality. Sora is loyal to his friends and believes in them with all his heart. It’s not just his friends that he wants to protect but all those around him even if he’s never met them before. While on his quest to save his friends its not hard to see Sora stop to help someone else out when he can. He has an amazing capacity to forgive people if he believes that they truly regret what they did but he can also hold a grudge against those who are merely faking regret.
Sora is highly competitive and it often shows when there’s a chance to show off his skills - even if he fails time and time again against Riku and their numerous activities. A lot of the times Sora is very gullible and oblivious to the things around him, yet he is far from stupid. He is very friendly and out-going and often times he doesn’t let the bad things drag him down as he prefers to be optimist rather than pessimistic. Most people can find him with a smile on his face and it's very easy to get him to laugh or to get him to join in some joyous occasion. Yet he can be serious if the situation calls for it, easily adapting to whatever the moment needs him to be.
It’s rare but Sora has been known to get angry usually on behalf of some injustice done and it makes him act more irrational than normal. He also tends to act like a little kid and becomes excited over simple things such as meeting Santa or being on a pirate ship. Sora has some knowledge over technology, being able to type albeit like a kid would, but it’s not a lot as when Tron starts to use words he’s never heard before it just confuses him. When he first started out Sora was not very good at flying the gummi ship, and it caused a fight with Donald, but since then he’s gotten better in that aspect.
Nearly everyone is treated the same when Sora first comes across them and he treats them more like a friend even if they have a higher authority, but he does know when he should be a little respectful in certain situations. Back on the island it wasn’t a surprise to see Sora lazing about and taking naps but once he sets his mind to something this teenager doesn’t like to wait around making him very determined at times. Sora is quite confident in his skills knowing that with his friends he can defeat any enemy and restore peace to the world and while his leadership skills aren't all that great and he makes rash and impromptu actions he keeps a level head through most of it.
Over the years Sora's grown accustomed to always having someone around - whether it's Riku and Kairi, Donald and Goofy or even enemies - he's hardly ever alone so he often turns to them for advice, friendly chats or when rushing into danger expects to have someone back him up. He's the curious type always trying to learn new things about the world he's on and a blatant disregard for the "World Order" Donald and Goofy once talked about and how they shouldn't interfere, people's lives are much more important to him than some rules. To go along with it Sora's very casual when it comes to things like titles or status, and while he refers to Mickey as The King he treats them more like they're all old friends. All of Sora's emotions are worn on his face, what you see is what you get - from the happiest of smiles, to the angry glares down to the tears of sadness and of joy.

Sora will get himself situated among his friends once again, try to figure out what the heck is up with this Terra guy harassing them, find all of his other Facility friends. Of course he'll go back to do his charity work at the hospital, find jobs, work on his skills and abilities. After nine months with artificial light, experiments and everything he went through in space Sora will be attempting to piece himself back into some semblance of the Keyblade wielder he used to be while never losing everything that he learned about himself. He's always going to be looking for a way back to the Facility to save them while concentrating on the here and now of Siren's Port. The kid is bound and determined to better himself in every possible way to make him stronger in every sense. He knows that he lacks in several areas and will continue to learn from others who are willing to teach him. Of course he will once again be getting a job or two and he'll occasionally take breaks from his serious business to just go out and make people smile. Sora will also be getting to know the people from his world better and fixing any bridges that might have gotten messed up with his disappearance.

Sora had medium brown hair that sticks out to the left and right of his head, it also spikes upwards and has bangs that spike down over his forehead. Even when his hair is wet it magically stays the way it’s spiked. The color has gone from dark brown to a lighter shade over the course of the year he’s been gone from the island and it can look blond in certain lights. He has bright blue eyes and a darker than average skin color due to the fact that he’s spent 14 years outside on a tropical island and not even a year spent in suspended animation could keep away. His body is skinny and grew taller over the last year at a rapid rate, but he’s well toned from the lifestyle he’s led although Sora never seems to gain anymore muscles from the last two years of his life like Riku did.
His main outfit consists of mostly black, with yellow, red, blue and white. Belts and buckles crisscross over his clothes, gloves and oversized shoes. He has a short-sleeved hoodie that remains unzipped and two large pockets on either pant leg that hold all of his items. While the colors of his outfits may change there is one piece that never changes - besides the basic design - and it’s the chain with a crown-shaped charm hanging from around his neck.
A Facility changes:
Because of his time in the Facility Sora has some physical scars, mainly a three large ones that start from his stomach curl over his side and stop mid-back, something that looks like large fingers which punctured his legs left scars as well and they start from his knees and go up to his thighs, a long but thin scar along the left side of his hairline and small scars on his fingers that can only be noticed when someone's looking carefully. He's also a bit thinner then he'd normally be seeing as how his main food supply has been horrible tasting nutrient bars and water. Sora's been neglecting his hair and hasn't trimmed it in a while so it's noticeably longer - it won't last long but long enough to mention.

[Anyone near the baseball diamond ten minutes ago would have seen this kid's reaction to arriving here and one of the half-destroyed dug-outs still serves as a reminder. Sora's sitting with his back to the wall of names and just over his right shoulder there's something new etched there: "The Facility" in large, thick letters. He doesn't seem worried that the darkness has set in or that he's feeling horrible as he's purposely posting this.]
Siren's Port again. [He leans his head back against the wall, closing his eyes. Fuzzy memories are bouncing around from every direction. The fight with Xemnas, getting pulled into another world, the Pull, the faces, the forgotten friends, the talks, the kidnapping, his almost secret project, a trip out to the island, going to work and then...darkness. Xemnas again and then...white walls. Nine months as an experiment specimen, struggle after struggle, deaths rolling in week after week, faces all blurred together, names on the tip of his tongue but never forming properly. Uggggh, what a giant headache!
Sora leans forward so he can rub the back of his head. It's now that people might notice that he's a bit on the skinny side - even for him and his hair is longer then it should be.] Who's still here? How long has it been? Who has my dog?
[Quiet mumbling:] Wonder if my room's been rented out. Bet I lost my jobs.
[There's some shuffling noises close by and Sora gets to his feet slowly, just keeping his eyes on the monsters closing in on him.] I'm going back in the direction of my old apartment if anyone wants to catch up with me. The trio rushed to close it only Riku and King Mickey are on the other side, still they insist that the door must be closed and together Mickey and Sora seal the door with their Keyblades. As the worlds began to restore themselves Kairi appeared on a piece of sandy land and Sora promised that once he’s found Riku and Mickey that they’d return to the island.
The details following that event are gone from Sora’s memories, but the trio made their way to Castle Oblivion where Organization XIII members led Sora and his friends through the memories of his heart while a girl named Namine implanted fake memories in their place. As they continued through the castle Kairi was replaced with Namine and Sora became determined to save her from the Nobodies. While Sora distracted Marluxia, Larxene and Axel three other Nobodies created a fake Riku that they thought would destroy Sora only to have him ‘defeated’ by Namine.
Eventually Sora saved Namine from the Nobodies and she swore to restore his memories as he slept. While he slept Sora’s Nobody - Roxas - moved around but none of Roxas’ memories transferred back to Sora when they reunited.
Roxas spent a year in Organization XII until he finally left them and was caught by Riku. He spent several days in a fake version of Twilight Town before finally returning to Sora and awakening him from his year-long slumber. Sora had a vague sense of being in Twilight Town before and he even cried when he left Roxas’ friends, but King Mickey had told them to continue on and so they did. They met up with Pete, who were waiting to see if his Heartless could make the master of the tower - Yen Sid - into a powerful Heartless. Once the trio made it to the top of the tower the sorcerer told them of the Nobodies and of Organization XII.
Just like before they traveled from world to world searching for their friends and defeating Heartless, saving the worlds from the Nobodies. When they finally made it back to Twilight Town they were told that a girl named Kairi had been looking for them and with Axel’s help made it to the world that belonged to the Nobodies. Everything was revealed there, Xemnas - really Ansem’s apprentice’s Nobody and leader of Organization XII - had been collecting hearts to try and make another Kingdom Hearts to try and give them all hearts. Sora also discovered the truth about Roxas and Namine while reuniting with his friends - even though Riku surrendered himself to the darkness in order to help Sora and no longer looked like himself anymore.
Slowly Sora and his friends defeat the remaining Nobodies until only Xemnas himself remained. They first fought him together, and it seemed like they had won. Namine opened a portal of darkness that allowed nearly everyone to escape but just as Riku and Sora are about to follow the portal closed and they are left to fight Xemnas.
Note: This is where he got pulled to live in Siren's Port for several months before returning to his fight with Xemnas. After his five months in Siren's Port he returned to the fight for two more rounds before Riku and Sora faced him one final time saying that while light, darkness and nothingness went on for eternity that didn't make Xemnas eternal. At this point is when he got snatched for a second time to spend nine months in a place called the Facility (described below).

Character Personality:
This boy has a brave and very heroic personality. Sora is loyal to his friends and believes in them with all his heart. It’s not just his friends that he wants to protect but all those around him even if he’s never met them before. While on his quest to save his friends its not hard to see Sora stop to help someone else out when he can. He has an amazing capacity to forgive people if he believes that they truly regret what they did but he can also hold a grudge against those who are merely faking regret.
Sora is highly competitive and it often shows when there’s a chance to show off his skills - even if he fails time and time again against Riku and their numerous activities. A lot of the times Sora is very gullible and oblivious to the things around him, yet he is far from stupid. He is very friendly and out-going and often times he doesn’t let the bad things drag him down as he prefers to be optimist rather than pessimistic. Most people can find him with a smile on his face and it's very easy to get him to laugh or to get him to join in some joyous occasion. Yet he can be serious if the situation calls for it, easily adapting to whatever the moment needs him to be.
It’s rare but Sora has been known to get angry usually on behalf of some injustice done and it makes him act more irrational than normal. He also tends to act like a little kid and becomes excited over simple things such as meeting Santa or being on a pirate ship. Sora has some knowledge over technology, being able to type albeit like a kid would, but it’s not a lot as when Tron starts to use words he’s never heard before it just confuses him. When he first started out Sora was not very good at flying the gummi ship, and it caused a fight with Donald, but since then he’s gotten better in that aspect.
Nearly everyone is treated the same when Sora first comes across them and he treats them more like a friend even if they have a higher authority, but he does know when he should be a little respectful in certain situations. Back on the island it wasn’t a surprise to see Sora lazing about and taking naps but once he sets his mind to something this teenager doesn’t like to wait around making him very determined at times. Sora is quite confident in his skills knowing that with his friends he can defeat any enemy and restore peace to the world and while his leadership skills aren't all that great and he makes rash and impromptu actions he keeps a level head through most of it.
Over the years Sora's grown accustomed to always having someone around - whether it's Riku and Kairi, Donald and Goofy or even enemies - he's hardly ever alone so he often turns to them for advice, friendly chats or when rushing into danger expects to have someone back him up. He's the curious type always trying to learn new things about the world he's on and a blatant disregard for the "World Order" Donald and Goofy once talked about and how they shouldn't interfere, people's lives are much more important to him than some rules. To go along with it Sora's very casual when it comes to things like titles or status, and while he refers to Mickey as The King he treats them more like they're all old friends. All of Sora's emotions are worn on his face, what you see is what you get - from the happiest of smiles, to the angry glares down to the tears of sadness and of joy.

Sora will get himself situated among his friends once again, try to figure out what the heck is up with this Terra guy harassing them, find all of his other Facility friends. Of course he'll go back to do his charity work at the hospital, find jobs, work on his skills and abilities. After nine months with artificial light, experiments and everything he went through in space Sora will be attempting to piece himself back into some semblance of the Keyblade wielder he used to be while never losing everything that he learned about himself. He's always going to be looking for a way back to the Facility to save them while concentrating on the here and now of Siren's Port. The kid is bound and determined to better himself in every possible way to make him stronger in every sense. He knows that he lacks in several areas and will continue to learn from others who are willing to teach him. Of course he will once again be getting a job or two and he'll occasionally take breaks from his serious business to just go out and make people smile. Sora will also be getting to know the people from his world better and fixing any bridges that might have gotten messed up with his disappearance.

Sora had medium brown hair that sticks out to the left and right of his head, it also spikes upwards and has bangs that spike down over his forehead. Even when his hair is wet it magically stays the way it’s spiked. The color has gone from dark brown to a lighter shade over the course of the year he’s been gone from the island and it can look blond in certain lights. He has bright blue eyes and a darker than average skin color due to the fact that he’s spent 14 years outside on a tropical island and not even a year spent in suspended animation could keep away. His body is skinny and grew taller over the last year at a rapid rate, but he’s well toned from the lifestyle he’s led although Sora never seems to gain anymore muscles from the last two years of his life like Riku did.
His main outfit consists of mostly black, with yellow, red, blue and white. Belts and buckles crisscross over his clothes, gloves and oversized shoes. He has a short-sleeved hoodie that remains unzipped and two large pockets on either pant leg that hold all of his items. While the colors of his outfits may change there is one piece that never changes - besides the basic design - and it’s the chain with a crown-shaped charm hanging from around his neck.
A Facility changes:
Because of his time in the Facility Sora has some physical scars, mainly a three large ones that start from his stomach curl over his side and stop mid-back, something that looks like large fingers which punctured his legs left scars as well and they start from his knees and go up to his thighs, a long but thin scar along the left side of his hairline and small scars on his fingers that can only be noticed when someone's looking carefully. He's also a bit thinner then he'd normally be seeing as how his main food supply has been horrible tasting nutrient bars and water. Sora's been neglecting his hair and hasn't trimmed it in a while so it's noticeably longer - it won't last long but long enough to mention.

[Anyone near the baseball diamond ten minutes ago would have seen this kid's reaction to arriving here and one of the half-destroyed dug-outs still serves as a reminder. Sora's sitting with his back to the wall of names and just over his right shoulder there's something new etched there: "The Facility" in large, thick letters. He doesn't seem worried that the darkness has set in or that he's feeling horrible as he's purposely posting this.]
Siren's Port again. [He leans his head back against the wall, closing his eyes. Fuzzy memories are bouncing around from every direction. The fight with Xemnas, getting pulled into another world, the Pull, the faces, the forgotten friends, the talks, the kidnapping, his almost secret project, a trip out to the island, going to work and then...darkness. Xemnas again and then...white walls. Nine months as an experiment specimen, struggle after struggle, deaths rolling in week after week, faces all blurred together, names on the tip of his tongue but never forming properly. Uggggh, what a giant headache!
Sora leans forward so he can rub the back of his head. It's now that people might notice that he's a bit on the skinny side - even for him and his hair is longer then it should be.] Who's still here? How long has it been? Who has my dog?
[Quiet mumbling:] Wonder if my room's been rented out. Bet I lost my jobs.
[There's some shuffling noises close by and Sora gets to his feet slowly, just keeping his eyes on the monsters closing in on him.] I'm going back in the direction of my old apartment if anyone wants to catch up with me. These guys are making it impossible to stick around here any longer. [He makes it seem like he's turned off the NV.]
