Congrats on an awesome performance!

You had me for a moment there with MISFALLS... because it's a word, and you wouldn't have lost the challenge if you weren't playing Scrabble Lite.

...sounds redundant to me, or am I misunderestimating the Brits?

Oh, wow, I didn't even think to check it for #ness. It had sort of a "this word is goofy but strangely familiar" flavor to it during the game....I wonder if it came up in an annotated Collins game sometime and wormed its way into my subconscious that way.

And here I was making fun of him the whole way home by using MISFALL# and variants in as many sentences as I could. ("God, I hate this hot weather - it sure makes me MISS FALL," etc.)

I will note that he let me get away with NEARIsH in game 3 before realizing 40 seconds too late that it's a classic phony. And boy did he have a conniption when he did!! Such wrath! (And I thought I was being so clever since it scored better than HERNIAS) Surprised that NEARISH is no-pods.

Nice game! They should call it Terryshusbandstown. I'm gonna cross-post one of mine from Google plus here now. It is a similar kind of game.

Wow, awesome game! And congrats. Caught a glimpse of the cross-table today... looks like you basically had to beat Joel a million times in a row to win the tournament, so... you did.
