I have flashbacks of my Latin classes. I spent enough time obsessing and not understanding that language until 3 min before the homework was due... it comes back from time to time.

i.e. I was thinking about the skulls that medieval scholars used to keep on their desks to remind themselves of their mortality. The skull was called a memento mori.
