May I recommend Larry Niven & Jerry Pournelle's book "Inferno" which is a science fiction book with a modern twist on Dante's Inferno. One of my favourite books, and one which has a newly published sequel "Escape from hell" which I haven't read yet but will soon.
I just looked it up, the book, and I was surprised to 1) find a very cheap copy (the Dutch translation) - def. cheap enough to make me consider buying it, 2) what seems like a very interesting plot, and 3) Larry Niven is the writer of a book my father very much likes - so this only adds to my curiosity. I guess it'd be a good beginning to start reading books again (as I sort of gave it up when my ability concentrate seemed to get less and less)... :)
I'm glad you are, and more will follow soon (hopefully ;) ). And thank you for the reccomendation.
I haven't read a lot - and what I did/do read are mostly short stories, of which there are often 25 or 50 put together in one book; dad owns a lot of those. SF is really quite a nice genre though, and very diverse in subjects as well!
I will, I will! Don't worry! ;) I've started writing the next chapter, although I'll probably first complete another chapter of the Maxwell Institution.
