This was perfect and beautiful...so full of sadness and yet hope. Brilliant!
Because he knows that he and John can't be without each other. Because he once believed and loved John, with his entire heart and soul, and even after all that has passed...
So true....you can never leave your soulmate.

That was a really interesting idea, I don't think I've read anything quite like it.

It was lovely but very sad, and Paul's pain makes me cry.

But there is hope, cos one day he'll be able to cross that air and get to John. :)
