May I correct you? The English word "love"/luv" or whatever you had in mind is translated with LIEBE, but as she addresses a male person here it must be LIEBER. Else she would talk to a female person....
No one would say that in Germany btw...how about taking SÜSSER or SCHATZ...which would be "sweetheart"? Or if you stick close to your first choice: LIEBLING which is "darling".
But LIEBE is definitely wrong here.
