I really liked this, I'd never heard of Anita before and never heard that story that you posted in the author's note, thanks for sharing the link. :)

I think you did a really good job.
I know they haven't done a nice thing but at least you didn't make it nasty. Which probably would have been easier to write.
This was more subtle and probably harder to write and I applaud you for it.
Am glad you made them feel guilty about it though!

You shouldn't have been afraid to post this!

That's awful... But so good at the same time. You wrote it in a really morally ambiguous way (in say the same manner as "Lolita", but not in Nabokov's style, obviously), so it was bearable to read, not to mention great to read. I dig your style and your subtle slash. ^_^

Also, thanks for the link. I had only heard snippets of the Anita story before. Now, is it proven-proven that Philip is Paul's kid, or is it still debated? I'm curious. Whatever the case... Poor Philip. :/ Also, whenever I hear the name Philip, I think about nickels. That's what cartoons do to a person.

:) Thank you!

I've always thought it wasn't tested, but emiliaparanoica told me today that it has been. Apparently Philip isn't Paul's son after all...
Cartoons don't sound very healthy to you, in that case xD Philip -> nickels, wtf?

Oh man. I feel so sorry for him. Imagine being told your entire life that you're that famous man's son... Then finding out that you aren't. It wasn't good being his son and it's worse finding out that you aren't. I really feel for him. :(

Lol. It's from the Fairly Oddparents. Cosmo had a nickel that he named Philip and it was a recurring joke throughout the episode. :D

Well... He has always said that he didn't want to be Paul's son/didn't think he was. In the end he was right, so I suppose it might have given him some peace of mind? :)

OOOH. I think I've seen that ep. In Dutch though, hence why it made no sense at all ^^'

Ah, and if I tell you that it was quite a bit of mindfuck writing this, you probably understand. Halfway through the sex-scene, I actually thought it was quite hot in a strange, fucked up way. Urgh.

Thanks for your comment x Am currently reading Red Hall (though, I'm only two paragraphs into the prologue, far too busy to really settle down and read it calmly, what with a 15 year old brother and a mother who just got home from work and has to leave again in about an hour >< argh)
