decides, finally, finally, at last, to give up trying.
Oh God. Oh, oh, God. That line was just so... It conveyed so much in so little. His pain, his heartbreak in loving Paul and never being able to tell him, and it's almost like a relief to finally be rid of the pain.
That was absolutely fantastic. A beautiful read.

You KNOW I laugh at inappropriate moments but oh gosh that was really sad and I love the use of All You Need is Love at the end cos it packs a right punch and why the hell is this a really long run-on sentence?
