It's dark outside. Not so terribly early, but the mornings are darker and colder both, these days.

In the Allgood residence, it's also dark, but not cold--at least, not for Cuthbert and Susan, who are asleep, wrapped in blankets and sheets and each other.

She's ever been used to rising early in the morning, and so mayhap it's no surprise that she stirs, stretching slightly, and blinks sleepily.

Dark, still-- and there's no need for her to be up and about yet, say true. Susan makes a soft noise and snuggles deeper into the blankets, closer to Cuthbert.

It doesn't take much movement to wake a gunslinger, Cuthbert stirs in response, opening his eyes a bit.

At first, he simply nestles closer to Susan, letting his eyes fall closed again--but after a moment, they open again.

He looks down at her for a moment, as if in thought, and then starts to pull away, gently, trying not to wake her.

She stirs again, murmuring something and turning toward him, and then stills.

Exhaustion makes one harder to wake, and the days have been wearying of late.

Cuthbert leans back in to kiss her placatingly, then withdraws, slipping out of bed.

Crossing to the wardrobe, he puts on jeans and socks, but no shirt. It's still not that cold in the main bar, and he doesn't plan on having to stay out of bed that long.

He does strap his gunbelts on, though.

Yes. He does. Be quiet.

With one last glance at Susan, he crosses the room and slips out the door, gunslinger-stealthy.
