Susan knows 'Bert well enough to not be overly surprised at his restlessness, say true. She turns her chair around to straddle it, leaning her head on her crossed arms, and watches him with a faint, rueful smile.

"Thee'll fidget yerself right into next week at this rate, 'Bert."

There's a quiet clank, and a quieter curse from around the corner.

Then Crowley comes into view, hand trailing along the outside of the infirmary window as the demon blindly navigates the corridors of Serenity.

It's a good while after the continuity above that Alain returns. Bootheels click on the metal grating of these halls in any case, but he maybe lets it be a little louder than usual, to make sure they know he's coming, before he appears in the doorway.

This doesn't mean he doesn't appreciate it.

There's only limited privacy available in the infirmary anyway, what with the large windows on two walls. Still.

Alain opens the door, and steps in to lean back against a counter. An answering smile, directed at both of them.
